Server Down?

Cant find on A3Launcher or in game. Server down or am I derping?

Sorry guys, I didn't see it until just now. Something crashed the database. Got it all started back up.

After 10:00 PST re-start tonight the server is 'locked'

It locks for two minutes after every restart, to give the server time to load the mission file.

It was locked a good 20 minutes after re-start. I know because I was being stubborn & kept re-checking every 5 minutes

Drat. I'm guessing the unlock script was hung. That has happened before when too many people log in at the very start of the server, before the server can run the lock command. In theory, it locks the server, kicks everyone that happened to make it into the server before it was locked, then loads the mission file, then unlocks. Unfortunately, if too many people log in before the lock, it can hang after kicking them all. I imagine this will probably be fixed with the new hardware, as it's a load issue.

Looks like it's a system or driver issue with the new machine. Since I just migrated the server over, this was bound to happen I suppose. Running some maintenance tools now, should be back up shortly.

Yea... I may have to roll back the AI until we get it figured out. I had to step out for a bit. I'll bring it back up when I get back.

I was doing a clear the village mission and all I found was one guy in a ghillie. He didn't even look like a a regular AI, he was just slowing walking down the street with a laid back animation. Still shot him though.

Ok... I've done a full system sweep to fix driver errors and registry errors and such... I've loaded the server back up. If it goes down again, let me know in this thread. Unfortunately, if it still crashes, my only next step is a full windows reinstall, so cross your fingers.
