Other games you play?

I'm considering making Battleborne a gaming clan. Branching out into other games and keeping a community to all the games we play together. We would have a seperate website, that would link to this one, and I would consider hosting servers for other games as well.

So what multiplayer games do you play? And what other games would you guys want to see an official battleborne server for?

Games I would like to play with people: 1) Battlefield: Bad Company
2) Blood Bowl
3) Borderlands 2
4) Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
5) Dungeon Defenders.
6) L4D2
7) Magicka
8)Mount and Blade
9) TF2
10) Total War games
There's more, but I would like to keep this list somewhat small and see what other people say.

Do you have BC1 or BC2? I play a little BC2 and battlefield 3. Mount and blade is pretty cool too.

One I'd especially like to see played if you guys want: Ghost Recon: Phantoms. It's free to play if you want to try it out.

Quake wasn't before my time I'm down to give it a try! I played Ghost Recon Phantoms for a bit last night. Was fun but not willing to buy a bunch of gear so tough to compete. Got L4D2 downloaded last night (thx troy) so going to give that a whirl tonight. You have that one Papa?? Guess you can coo-op with 4, be fun to all get on there together. Also bought Wasteland 2 last night which I'm looking forward to trying. Heard really good things about it. Went on a bit crazy last night!

yea, it used to be a lot more balanced. It started out as one of the most balanced free to play games ever. But as they keep raising the stats on the weapons that you buy, its hard to compete anymore. Its still fun if you can get a run on kids with pay to win weapons tho lol.

As for L4D2, thanks to troy as well, I have it, and I got it for mermaid also. So yea lets definitely do that sometime!

Anyone know how much it costs per month to host a TeamSpeak channel? I'm down to throw in, although probably be better in someone else set it up because there's a good chance I'd mess it up Would come in so handy when playing either Dayz or anything else. So much better sound quality as well. Thoughts?? Or I guess could using Skype would be the other option.

Skype doesn't work with Windows 8, you can't run it and anything else at the same time. Steam chat is ok.

I would love to have a Ventrilo or teamspeak channel. The only obstacle is that I do not have the bandwidth to host it here. So the options are, either I could buy a host, or upgrade my own connection to a business class, which would provide more monthly bandwidth. Either way is gonna cost money. If you guys are down to donate, then I would set it up and maintain it either way, but as is, the server doesn't really cost me anything out of pocket besides a slight uptick in my power bill. So let me know what you guys want to do, and if you want something like that, I can make it happen.

So I'm ready to do some L4D2 with you guys. If you want to mod the crap out it try to do that before we get together. I have so many mods running that I got to see Batman beat Bane to death with a Dr. Who flag, all the while listening to the music of Scatman John.

How much $$ would it be monthly to have someone else host the teamspeak channel? $5, $25? Another option is that I could host it. Have a good rig & plenty of bandwidth. I joked about not being able to set it up but that wouldn't be a problem.

Yep. All of them are either skin or audio mods, so they don't effect game play.

Having a mic would also make the game a lot easier.

So when do you guys want to play? Saturday?

As for teamspeak, and I just looked up hosts... I had no idea they had gotten so cheap. Gameservers.com has a 10 slot for less than 4 bucks... it used to be more than 1 dollar per slot back in the day.
