Just wanted to let you know the military domes (white globes) are very buggy in terms of AI gunplay. The AI can see you through the walls and shoot you as if the walls aren't even there. Not sure if this is fixable, but I don't recall having seen this before in 2k+ hours played. This includes AI being inside the dome (invisible to you) and just shooting you through the walls. There are also a couple of buildings in the slums base that this happens in. They are the two small rooms and the ends of the apartment buildings. 2 AI sit in each room prone and can shoot through the walls as you approach.

This could be due to server-client relationships as we discussed. When entities get transferred from client to server and back, they can sometimes lose the ability to see things on the opposite entity.

That being said... remember that Arma 3 has a VERY robust AI system. They can hear you. And add to that the fact that Arma 3 has a VERY realistic ballistic simulation. A 7.62 or 50 cal round can penetrate a concrete wall without a second thought. So consider a real life situation where you're walking down a hallway with two enemies prone in rooms on either side of you. They can hear you walking down the hallway. When they hear you walk by, they simply shoot you through the wall. This is realistic.

So it could be that that particular situation isn't a bug at all, but intended functionality. The globe situation, yea that's probably a bug, considering there's no way they could see or hear you. But I'm just saying, shooting through walls by itself is not a bug. It's a feature of Arma.
