how would one take screen shots i would like to make a nice dayz background for my pc.....

X I think you need to use another program while playing like Fraps. I have fraps & use it to watch my FPS but have never tried taking a screenshot with it. I'll try next time I'm on server... Here's a video showing how to do download & set up Fraps if you don't already have it:

It would be cool to have a screenshot section on the forum of gameplay while on server

im wanting to make a collage of pics for a background but the only prob is i dont know how to do screenshots and ill check that out thanks hens. and if i think its good enough ill post it to the forum.....

ok just downloaded FRAPS and yes you can do screen shots thanks for the great info...

If you have the steam version you can just take screenshots with steam. It's F12 if i'm not mistaken.

has anyone ever explored the island? well im out here in the castle on the island with a blown trie......... again i have spares just not on me lol... how about spawning car parts over here? or everywhere. yea not a good idea prob but just a thought if anyone seeing this gets on near time of post can help? would much appreciated and i have a satchel charge for sale as well...

Welp.....today was pretty bad. I was doing a mission and was in the running over the last of them phase, and there were more left then I though. My Urel blew up and killed me. Sigh.

Its under video settings. Should be something like "interface size" or something. I'll look at it when I get home and see. Its under the advanced settings iirc.

I tried that, and it pushed my text off the screen. Could be that I hooked my computer up to my TV. Might be too big.

What are your resolutions?

1920x1020, but I'm using another program in order to shrink the size a bit. The edges where getting cut off.

As an alternative, I could just squint when someone is typing.

What is your TVs resolution? 720p? 1080p?

It switches to 720 when I'm playing a game.

1080. No idea why it does that.

Right click on your desktop and hit resolutions, and change that to whatever it says is your optimal resolution. Then go into the game and change the game resolution to that as well. The TV is scaling 720p up to 1200p. That's your problem.

Weird your name changed! I'm cool with calling you general You can change it back though in profiles after you exit ready room which I'm sure you already knew.. Wasn't planning on getting on tonight but I could hope on about 3:30PST for a few minutes to get you money if you're going to be around
