I am going to use this thread as a central repository for new changes to the server. Look here if you want to see what has changed. I will keep it updated each time a player facing change is made, instead of posting a new thread as I have been.

Changelog:


-------------- 3/25 NAMALSK

The other day I had the idea, that one of the things I could do to make Namalsk more survivial-centric, would be to add more crafting. So...

- added crafting recipe to create bandages from 2 toilet paper and duct tape
- added crafting recipe to create Makarov pistol from scrap metal (requires fire)
- Added crafting recipe to create Makarov magazine from scrap matal (requires fire)

These recipes could be tweaked for "realism" in the future. And more are to come! If you have any ideas, let me know.

-----------------------2/19/2016 - ESSEKER

-Updated Esseker mod to current version. THIS BROKE COMPATIBILITY I am looking into the issue right now, but Esseker is essentially down at the moment. I am waiting for the mod maker to upload key files so the mod can be whitelisted again. Stand by for update

- Updated Ryanzombies to latest version.
- Updated zombie spawn script to latest version (infection and cure functionality is not implemented yet, but will be soon.)

-Updated to Arma 3 client 1.54 - You can update your Arma 3 version now!
- Updated to Exile 0.9.4 Lime. Please download on the Exilemod website or through Arma3Launcher
- Removed Ryanzombies for now due to a memory leak issue with the mod. Please remove @ryanzombies from your startup parameters. If you use A3Launcher, you don't have to do anything.
- NO DATABASE WIPE! All your base are belong to you... still...

- Added @Mas weapons pack!
You will need to either download the mod here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Or download through Arma3Launcher or PlayWithSix.
The weapons are at the traders only for now, and will not spawn in the world. This will be remedied in the next update.


--------------11/25 Hotfix

- Removed rocket launchers from AI. No more blowing you up. If you continue to see AI with rocket launchers let me know.
- Removed underwater missions due to inability to complete them.

-Moved FuMS mission system back onto the live server. The new mission system should be working now without crashes. Give me some feedback on this one!

- Added a watermark of our server logo in the bottom left of the screen.

-New AI system FuMS is running now! Please leave feedback on this new system. I'm sure it will take some tweaking like the old system.

------------10/31:

As of 4pm Central Time Restart:

- New hardware! Core i5 3.8ghz, new motherboard, and 8GB of ram! This is a huge improvement over the previous machine. A solid state drive is also in the works as soon as I can. Big thanks to all those who donated!

- Added a status bar listing character details at the bottom of the screen. Finally you can see your health!
- Added the Zombies and Demons mod requirement. If you don't have the mod, you will not be able to log in. No more people logging in to find scary invisible zombies!
- Increased drop height on HALO spawn
- Tweaked "slow down" message and welcome credits to play nicely together. The slow down message still shows on player login, and not just respawn.
- Removed server locking on startup. This will prevent the "server locked" error, but will also mean that you may have to wait a minute or two after restart to log in. Otherwise, you might get stuck at "waiting for server to start."

- Added FuMS mission system. Still not sure if the missions are spawning, so this is a work in progress. Stand by for an update.

-Re-added Zombie nerfing script. Let me know if you're getting kicked for publicvariable restrictions still
- Re-ordered scripts to show server credits / slow down warning. KNOWN ISSUE: the slow down warning will show every time you login. I'll be moving this to onplayerspawn.sqf after making sure the order is correct. That way it will only show when actually parachuting.

------------10/25:
- Recoded a possible script for nerfing demon zombie health. Let me know if it works in the feedback section.
- Added a warning to slow down on spawn
- New, better login music Smile
